Welcome to Kalispell!
Come to Kalispell, Montana - July 22-26, 2019 - for the 13th Annual Americas HTEC CNC Educator Conference!
Network with Educators, HTEC Partners and Industry Professionals as you begin Building Bridges in Manufacturing Education by learning how to leverage your Programs and Partnerships - with Students, Communities, Manufacturing Companies, Schools, Programs and more!
**NOTE: The Boeing Tour is full - registration for the tour is closed.**
Come early for an exciting tour at Boeing in Helena - fly into Helena, Montana over the weekend and experience an amazing tour of Boeing's Helena plant (lunch provided by Boeing) on Monday morning. Check out the beautiful scenery of Montana as you drive to Kalispell after lunch (about a 4 hour drive).
The official kickoff to the conference will be the Monday Night Welcome Reception, to be held in the Community Room at Flathead Valley Community College's Arts and Technology Building from 6-9 pm. The event will be catered by FVCC's Culinary and Brewing Academies - included with your registration! Network with colleagues, visit with HTEC Partners and enjoy the "non-metal" manufacturing side of the college's talents! You will receive your Welcome Packets including your Name Badges and Conference Notebooks.
The Conference will open on Tuesday morning with a Networking Breakfast beginning at 7:30 am - network with HTEC Partners, Educators and Manufacturing Industry Professionals. Meet in your Peer Groups right away, followed by Educator-led Breakouts, Keynote Luncheon Speaker and more Educator-led Breakouts, finishing with a Peer Group wrap-up at the end of the day. Head back to the hotels and get ready for the Tuesday Evening event!
Tuesday's Luncheon Keynote Speaker will be Twenty6 Products Founder and CEO, Tyler Jarosz. Originally from Wausau, Wisconsin, Tyler moved to Bozeman with an Industrial Manufacturing Trade Degree and a dream of making bicycle parts for a living. Come hear how he launched Twenty6, a top-end mountain bike parts company, serving the Optics and Photonics Industries, Motorsports, Medical, Research, bicycle and other precision, now nearly 20 years strong!
Tuesday evening will be packed with fun (more details to come) - including a Social Hour, Dinner and a more!
Wednesday will begin with a Continental Breakfast, visiting with HTEC Partners and presentations for the 2020 and 2021 Annual Americas Conferences, followed by Partner Workshops, and Educator-led breakouts and Afternoon Industry Tours. Continue your networking with HTEC Partners and Educators throughout the day and night.
Wednesday's Luncheon Keynote Speaker will be VersaBuilt Robotics Founder and CEO, Al Youngwerth. With several successful startups behind him, Al will share his leadership in startup management, growth, product development, software development, mechanical design, manufacturing and operations. VersaBuilt is a Robotics Technology company providing patented automated CNC technology and solutions to manufacturers worldwide, headquartered in Boise, Idaho.
Wednesday's Industry Tours will include your choice of Applied Materials or Defiance Corporation - make your preliminary selection while registering so we will know how many for each tour.
Wednesday evening you are on your own for dinner - explore Kalispell! Get together with colleagues and/or HTEC Partners for dinner and talk about what you are learning from the conference - enjoy the evening!
Thursday morning will include a Continental Breakfast, HTEC Partner Workshops, more networking and Partner visiting time. Plan to vote for the new HTEC Council over the lunch hour and you will meet your Peer Groups right after lunch for a final wrap-up of the week, followed by the General Business Meeting, School Reports, Announcement of the new HTEC Council, Project Poster Winners, Door Prizes and more networking time.
You will be on your own for Thursday evening dinner, but there will be a "Kalispell Thursday Fest/Community Block Party" where you will have a chance to relax and have some fun, discovering more of Kalispell!
Friday morning will close out the week with additional opportunities to tour local industry - we will meet at FVCC at 8:30 am and carpool to the locations - more details to come!
Stay in town to enjoy more of Kalispell, or head home - it's up to you!
